Three more COVID-19 deaths push total to 277

Three new COVID-19 deaths have put April 2021 on par with October 2020 as the deadliest month for the novel coronavirus in the country.

The Ministry of Health announced the new deaths in two press releases and identified the latest fatalities as a 42-year-old man from Region Four, a 70-year-old man from Region Five, and a 76-year-old man from Region Four. They all died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility. The latest deaths pushed Guyana’s death toll to 277.
