A D’Urban Street mother of four is now dead after being stabbed a reported 14 times last evening by her common-law husband, who later attempted to end his own life.
The dead woman is 44-year-old Suanna Wilson, called ‘Nicola,’ of 57 D’Urban Street, who was attacked just before 7 pm during an argument with her partner, Lawrence Brummell. Up to press time, he was a patient under guard at the George-town Public Hospital, after he reportedly ingested a poisonous substance.
