A visitor to the United States (US) embassy in Georgetown was yesterday morning robbed by motorcycle bandits and the embassy is warning Americans here to be cautious in light of the country’s crime situation.
In a security alert issued yesterday, the embassy said the robbery occurred at approximately 7.14 am at the intersection of Duke and Young streets, Kingston, Georgetown.
At the time, the embassy said the visitor was attempting to park in the visitors parking lot, situated opposite the embassy.
