Mandy Mangru was one of the newest additions to the West Indies women’s training camp currently ongoing in Antigua, a call up which she describes as her biggest achievement yet.
“It’s my biggest achievement, it’s what I’ve been waiting for, it’s my dream come through, I’m really looking forward to giving my all in this camp,” the East Coast Demerara native told Stabroek Sport.
While the new environment has brought her one step closer to fulfilling her passion of playing for West Indies, it has not all been smooth sailing, particularly over the last year with the COVID-19 pandemic.
