President Irfaan Ali this morning attended the funeral service of Eshwar Vevakanand Persaud also known as ‘Uncle Vic’ at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Brickdam.
According to the Office of the President, Ali hailed the veteran public servant as an “exceptional professional with great integrity”.
Persaud, a long-serving protocol chief who served under a number of Presidents died last week.
