Bandits leave businessmen and guard tied up after Friendship supermarket attack

Robbers left two businessmen and a security guard tied up after an early morning attack on Monday at a Friendship, East Bank Demerara supermarket.

The three suspects targeted the 52-year-old owner of the Ri Ri Fu Supermarket when he opened up his place of business just after 7.20 am.

The police, in a report, stated that the suspects, who were armed with handguns, relieved the victim of approximately $660,000 in cash, $120,000 in Digicel cards and a $60,000 phone.
