One day after landing a one-year sponsorship deal with the Guyana Lottery Company, Guyana’s Chelsea Edghill was the recipient of the largesse of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) which plunked down US$12000 towards her training for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Edghill qualified for the July 25th –August 8 games through the IOC Tripartite Elite Commission which granted her one of two spots available for the discipline.
