The Ministry of Health yesterday announced that four new COVID-19 deaths occurred between May 29 and 30.
An 81-year-old man from Region Ten, an 83-year-old woman from Region Four and a 30-year-old man from Region Nine all died on May 29. A 65-year-old man from Region Three died on Sunday.
As a result, the country’s death toll now stands at 389. The ministry noted that these persons were admitted to facilities with COVID-19-like symptoms and died while receiving care. Samples which were taken when they were admitted returned positive results for the novel coronavirus.
