A 48-year-old pedal cyclist died last night after he was struck down along the Loo Creek Public Road, Linden/Soesdyke Highway.
Dead is Kumar Persaud, a resident of the Seventh-day Adventist camp site, Linden/Soesdyke Highway.
The accident occurred around 6.20 pm.
The driver, a 30-year-old Barbadian missionary is presently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
