In hopes of encouraging more persons to get vaccinated against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health (MoH) is partnering with the Private Sector Com-mission (PSC) to offer incentives to persons who are fully vaccinated, including a chance to win a free flight to a destination of their choice in Guyana.
This was disclosed by Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony during yesterday’s COVID-19 update.
Anthony said the ministry will be embarking on a number of initiatives to encourage persons to get vaccinated against the virus. He said that this weekend, T-shirts will be given to persons who will be receiving their second shot of a vaccine. Subse-quently, he disclosed that the Ministry along with the PSC, and in particular the owners of aviation services, will be embarking on a special project, called the ‘Vaxx and Fly’ programme.
