A boat, suspected to have been used to transport narcotics on several occasions, was discovered at Mahaicony on Thursday and law enforcement officials are seeking to locate three men, who are believ-ed to be the owners/operators.
The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU), in a statement issued yesterday, said the boat was discovered on the eastern side of the Mahaicony landing.
The agency found a total of 5.610 kilos of cannabis, equivalent to just over 12 pounds, onboard.
