Step-sisters ordered to undergo counselling after quarrel over bucket

Two step-sisters have been ordered to undergo counselling after a city court heard that they had an argument over a bucket in their yard.

Sonia Summer, 50, and June Robinson, 52, both vendors living at North Ruimveldt, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court via the Brickdam Police Station Court Hub, yesterday when Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan read the charges to them.

Summer is accused of using abusive language and unlawfully assaulting Robinson on May 31, at their North Ruimveldt address. While Robinson was charged with unlawfully assaulting Summer, to cause actual bodily harm.
