Vendor charged over Stabroek Market killing

Kimbia James Prescod

Kimbia James Prescod, the Stabroek Market vendor accused of the fatal stabbing of fellow vendor Robert Bizzeth after a clash over a vending spot, was charged with murder yesterday.

Prescod, 46, called ‘Bow Life,’ of Lot 9 Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the conclusion of his arraignment in a city court.

Prescod was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge, which states that on June 22, at Stabroek Market, Georgetown, he murdered Bizzeth, 35.
