Autopsy confirms taxi driver died after stab wounds

A post-mortem examination conducted on the remains of Kenrick Trim, who was found dead a short distance away from his car in Ogle, confirmed his cause of death as being due to stab wounds.

The 53-year-old taxi driver, of Lot 129 Belfield Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, is believed to have been a victim of a carjacking, during which he was stabbed multiple times before his body was dumped.

According to a police report, around 9 am on Wednesday, Trim’s body was discovered lying motionless in the grass at the end of Cul-de-Sac Street, Block 1, Ogle, East Coast Demerara.
