Princes St man gets bail on ganja trafficking charge

A Princes Street man has been granted bail after being charged with illegal possession of narcotics for trafficking. Jaleel Bagot, 24, of Lot 19 Princes Street, Georgetown, was yesterday taken before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in a Georgetown court, where the charged was read to him.

It is alleged that on July 6, at Croal Street, Georgetown, Bagot had in his possession 477 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. The man, who was represented by attorney-at-law Paul Fung-A-Fat, denied the charge.
