DJ freed of disturbing the peace charge

Tony Bowen

Senior Magistrate Leron Daly yesterday dismissed a disturbing the peace charge against DJ Tony Bowen after she found that the charge was “bad in law.”

Bowen, 26, called ‘Mix Master Tony,’ of Third Street, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Daly in a Georgetown court.

It is alleged that on July 3, at Taco Loco, located at Lot 1 Drury Lane, Campbellville, Georgetown, Bowen behaved disorderly in a public place by playing loud music that disturbed the peace.
