Eight selected to represent civic component of extractive industries body

On the recommendation of an independent five-person selection panel, eight persons have been selected to re-constitute the civic component of the Multi-stakeholder Committee of the Guyana Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (GYEITI).

Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) in a press release identified the selected persons as: Gomin Camacho, Larry Carryl, Kerry-Anne Cort, Nicholas Fredericks, Dianna Khan, Mike McCormack, Vanda Radzik, and Sharmain Rambajue. These names will now be forwarded to the Minister of Natural Resources, the Vickram Bharrat, who, as GYEITI Champion, has the responsibility for convening the first meeting of the new Multi-Stakeholder Group.  PFG was the body charged with the selection process.
