Rain washes out third T20I

Heavy rainfall at the National Stadium, Providence forced the third T20I to be abandoned yesterday.

Some 40-odd minutes of heavy downpour forced the third T20I between West Indies and Pakistan to be abandoned at the National Stadium, Providence yesterday.

The roughly 1500 fans were left disappointed after the rain stopped Andre Fletcher’s assault as it was building up.

West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first with Chris Gayle promoted to the top of the order in Evin Lewis’ absence.
