Gov’t ministries begin rollout of COVID-19 entry restrictions

A number of Government ministries have put out notices making it known that unvaccinated persons will be barred from entry unless an appointment is made.

According to the latest gazetted COVID-19 Emergency measures (No.20), provisions were made which stated that members of the public who wished to enter the premises of a ministry or government agency to access services, must be vaccinated.

If persons are unvaccinated, they may only be able to access those services in person by making an appointment. In the gazetted order, its states in its interpretation that “vaccinated” means receiving at least one dose of any of seven vaccines currently being used around the world.
