Two mining camp workers were yesterday found dead in their hammocks at Black Water Backdam, Cuyuni River.
The duo, identified as General Manager of the mining camp Suresh Bachan, also known as ‘Richard,’ 52, of Thomas Street, Kitty, and Security Officer Steven Niles were discovered sometime around 6 am.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF), in a report, stated that the owner of the gold mining operation, Kevin Faerber, received information from workers at the camp regarding the gruesome discovery.
