A 60-year-old man is currently hospitalised with bro-
ken legs after he was struck down by an unknown driver during a hit-and-run in the wee hours of Friday morning.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday said that the man, whose name and address were unknown, was crossing at the Railway Embankment, at Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara, at 2 am when he was hit down by a car, bearing registration plate PZZ 1276, which was later found at the scene of the accident.
