A man was yesterday sentenced to 20 months behind bars after a court heard that he chopped his sister with a cutlass because she was going to report him to the police.
Kevearl Sandiford, 24, was sentenced by Chief Magis-trate Ann McLennan after he admitted to a wounding charge.
It was alleged that he wounded Dante Fraser on August 6, at Wismar, Linden.
