Crabwood Creek pandit died from fractured skull, brain haemorrhage

Rishi Bharrat, the Crab-wood Creek pandit, who on Saturday evening was fatally beaten after he attempted to disperse a group of men who were behaving raucously in front of his residence, died from a fractured skull and brain haemorrhage.

Six persons remain in custody for his murder.

A post-mortem examination was done yesterday on Bharrat also known as `Haribol’, 60, a joiner of Lot 10 Grant 1806 Crab-wood Creek, Upper Corentyne at the Memorial Gar-dens Mortuary by pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.
