Five Buxtonians were on Tuesday night robbed at an Ital shop at Annandale Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara, by a gang of armed men and a female accomplice.
The robbery occurred around 10.20 pm while the victims were at the shop watching television and playing cards.
According to the Guyana Police Force, the victims were approached by the suspects – six males and the female – who held them at gunpoint and subsequently relieved them of their personal belongings.
