The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday confirmed that five more persons, including a 34-year-old man, who were infected with COVID-19 have died.
Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony is urging persons to continue following preventative measures saying that the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Liliendaal is almost filled to its capacity.
In a statement, the Ministry identified two of the fatalities as a 64-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man from Region Four who both died on September 13, while the third is an 85-year-old woman from Region Six who died on September 6. The fourth and fifth fatalities are a 72-year-old woman who died on September 1, and a 34-year-old man who died on September 3. They are both from Region Three.
