Police clear Dartmouth road again

The Dartmouth bridge was reopened to traffic on Friday after two days of protest by residents, who had erected barriers across the structure

Commander of Region Two Denise Griffith has reiterated calls for cooperation from residents of Dartmouth, in Region Two, after the main roadway was once again blocked late Friday afternoon when protesting resumed over the killing of businessman Orin Boston.

A group of men in the village blocked the roadway with a utility pole and debris, preventing traffic from flowing freely through the area. The blockages were placed hours after police had managed to clear the Dartmouth bridge of blockages.
