Chocolate vendor accused of stealing phone 

A chocolate vendor facing a larceny charge was yesterday released on self-bail after telling a court that she had no money to post bail.

Joanna Forde, of Lot 63 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was taken before Magistrate Dylon Bess in Georgetown, where she was charged and released on her own recognisance. 

The charge against her states that on August 30, at West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, she stole a cell phone valued at $80,000, and which was the property of Shontay Williams.
