A man accused of stealing a motorcycle was refused bail yesterday after police say he evaded the court for six months.
Andrew Newyear, 23, of Lot 406 ‘D’ Field, Sophia, was brought before Prin-cipal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus, who appeared virtually at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, the charged was read.
Newyear denied that on April 9, at Plum Park, Sophia, while being in the company of another, he stole a motorcycle, valued $240,000, which was the property of Gregory Short.
