Corentyne taxi driver Gavin Gill, who in 2019 drove his car into his wife before stabbing and chopping her to death, now awaits sentence after pleading guilty yesterday afternoon to murdering her.
Gill appeared before Justice Sandil Kissoon at the High Court in Berbice where he admitted that on the morning of Saturday March 30th, 2019 he murdered Omwattie Gill at Tulsie Street, Williamsburg Village, Coren-tyne.
The judge has, however, deferred sentencing to November 5th to first hear a probation report.
