Bevon Stephon Griffith now awaits sentence after admitting to unlawfully killing Sophia resident Celwin Mark Allen on Christmas night back in 2017.
Griffith also known as ‘Kevin’ and ‘Spoony’, a mason formerly of 197 Pike Street, Kitty, Georgetown was initially indicted for murder.
When his matter was called yesterday morning, however, the young man admitted to the lesser offence of manslaughter—accepting that he had unlawfully killed Allen on December, 25th, 2017.
