Dottin’s career best came in team’s interest

Player of the Match Deandra Dottin chalked up her second ODI century against Pakistan yesterday.

Explosive West Indies Women opener, Deandra Dottin says her second One-Day International ton came in the interest of her team.

Dottin’s career-best knock of 132  against Pakistan Women yesterday featured 18 fours and two sixes and is the fourth highest score by a West Indian female cricketer behind Stafanie Taylor’s 171, 147 and 135 not out.

After the match the 30-year-old said, “To be honest my plan was to occupy the crease long, see what the bowlers are doing and see how the pitch is playing and just go from there.”
