Decisions on Vanessa Kissoon incident were made collectively, with due process – PNCR

Vanessa Kissoon

The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) yesterday said that a 2014 disciplinary incident involving its former MP Vanessa Kissoon had seen decisions made collectively and with due process.

Kissoon had been estranged from the PNCR since the incident but last week Stabroek News reported that she had been reinstated in the party as a member.

Kissoon had had an altercation with then General Secretary Oscar Clarke and had been told to write a letter of apology following the work of a disciplinary committee. She and her Region 10 colleagues had rejected the disciplinary process.
