Special constable charged with passenger’s death after Mocha crash

Aaron Rodrigues, the Special Constable who crashed into a utility pole along the Mocha Access Road on Saturday, was on Monday slapped with three charges, including causing the death of one of his passengers. 

Rodrigues, 21, of Lot 4 Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown was brought before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond/Grove Magistrate’s Court. He was charged with causing the death of Euclin Joseph, 49, of Lot 270 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown and was released on $1 million bail after he denied the charge and ordered to return to court on December 17, 2021 for his next hearing.
