Massy Distribution has agreed to a six percent wage and salary increase for its workers.
According to a Ministry of Labour release, Massy Distribution (Guyana) Inc signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) with the Clerical and Commercial Workers’ Union (CCWU) in the Ministry of Labour’s boardroom yesterday.
Prior to yesterday’s signing, the release stated, representatives of both parties held a virtual engagement where the agreement was made. The MoU states that with effect from October 1, 2021, all full-time employees will have the increase applied to their salaries which will last until 2023.
