Two of three persons who allegedly attempted to bribe lawmen at the Golden Grove Police Station were yesterday charged with the offence and obtaining money by false pretence.
Vishal Munilall, 34, of Lot 45 Houston East Bank Demerara (EBD); Kuluwattie Munilall, 25; and Vikram Munilall, 37; also of the same address, and Deodharry Odit, 26, of Lot 87 Gordon Street Kitty Georgetown, were arraigned at the Diamond/ Grove Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. Vishal, Vikram, and Odit were charged with obtaining money by false pretence from Robin Bostwick of Eccles EBD. Following not guilty pleas by each person for each charge, Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman released them on $100,000 bail each for the obtaining money by false pretence charge.
