A taxi-driver and his passenger, who were arrested at Weldaad Village, West Coast Berbice with almost 300 pounds of ganja, were yesterday charged with possession of narcotics for trafficking.
Emmanuel Luther, 23, a taxi-driver of Lot 41 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam, Berbice, and Demarqis Henry, 23, a welder of Lot 858 Fort Ordinance, New Amsterdam, Berbice, were arraigned at the Fort Wellington Magistrate’s Court.
