The Guyana Police Force (GPF) defeated Orealla 4-0 when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Guyana National Women’s Football Association (GNWFA) Super-16 Women’s Festival continued yesterday.
A second half blitz following a scoreless opening period, settled the outcome at the National Training Centre, Providence. In the space of 10 minutes the complexion of the contest changed, as three goals were scored by the GPF.
Lady Jaguars international Lakeisha Pearson broke the deadlock in the 70th minute, racing onto a through pass before finishing past the advancing goalkeeper during a one-on-one situation.
