A Blairmont, West Bank Berbice pensioner is now traumatized after she was attacked and robbed by two men armed with knives on Sunday.
Savitri Umrao, 74, a pensioner of Lot 97 Number 3 Settlement, Blairmont, West Bank Berbice, was robbed of her jewellery just around 7. 30 pm while one of her neighbours was present in the home.
According to information gathered, the pensioner was in the lower flat of her house with one of her neighbours, Rakesh, when the two perpetrators invaded her home through the front door which was open at the time.
