Police are on the hunt for two bandits who shot and robbed a Linden taxi driver of more than $300,000 in gold jewellery shortly after he arrived home on Tuesday night.
According to a police statement, the incident occurred around 19.00hrs at Phase One B, Wisroc, Wismar, Linden.
The 35-year-old taxi driver, who was not named by the police was shot once in his thigh during the ordeal. His attackers escaped with his gold chain and ring worth $360,000.
