Two men were yesterday arraigned at two Magistrate’s Courts to answer to possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking charges.
Ezera Greene, 36, was arraigned at the Linden Magistrate’s Court where he was released on bail after Magistrate Wanda Fortune read the charge to him. It is alleged that on December 21, at the Soesdyke-Linden Highway, he had 1.24 kilograms of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $200,000 bail. The condition for the bail is that he reports to the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) Headquarters on the last Friday of every month until the conclusion of the case.
