Five females from Guyana were named as part of a 23-member squad announced by Cricket West Indies (CWI) yesterday to take part in a medical and fitness camp in Barbados from tomorrow until January 9 to 14.

Leading the five is national captain, Shemaine Campbelle, the most seasoned campaigner along with her Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club mate, Sheneta Grimmond. Demerara all-rounders, Mandy Mangru and Cherry Ann Fraser were also listed along with left-arm spinner, Kaysia Schultz.

According to CWI, Berbician Shabika Gajnabi along with Britney Cooper and Shawnisha Hector have all been ruled out by the CWI Medial Panel for medical reasons.
