The Guyana Government has issued a Request for Information (RFI) on firms with the capacity to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for 33 megawatts peak (MWp) of solar power.
The RFI appeared in Sunday’s edition of Kaieteur News. It noted that the government has earned financing from the Guyana REDD+ Investment Fund (GRIF) under the Guyana-Norway partnership and intends to apply part of the proceeds “to payments under the Contract for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of 33MWp of Solar Photovoltaic Plants with Battery Energy Storage Systems”.
