A Corporal attached to the Special Constabulary was crushed to death yesterday morning after she lost control of her bicycle and fell along the La Penitence Public Road, Georgetown.
The dead woman has been identified as Dawn Booker, 57, of Perseverance, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD). She sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred around 8.15 am in the vicinity of La Penitence Market.
