The performing arts community is grieving the passing of Guyanese actor and cultural icon Ron Bobb-Semple, who died on Thursday last.
Among his many accomplishments, Ron was known for his support of Marcus Garvey’s philosophies for 35 years which led to his educational presentation ‘The Spirit of Marcus Garvey’, and his most recent the role of Grandpa Nigel in the Netflix movie See You Yesterday.
Ron, who resided in Florida, was said to have contracted COVID-19 and died owing to complications of the disease.
