The Region Two administration in collaboration with the Anna Regina Town Council (ARTC) and the Essequibo Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday started a clean-up operation within the township.
The exercise was spearheaded by Region Two Chairperson Vilma De Silva, the Prime Minister’s representative, Arnold Adams, Town Councillors and Community Enhancement workers.
Similar clean-up exercises are planned for Charity on Thursday and at Suddie on Friday.
