A Mon Repos Market jeweller was yesterday robbed of a quantity of gold jewellery by three bandits, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
Police last night said the bandits at about 09:40hrs carried out the attack on the 46-year-old jeweller and fired at the jeweller’s employee after he raised an alarm.
The bandits escaped.
