One of the two men accused of killing 13-year-old Daveanand Sanichar, following a wedding house row at Triumph, East Coast Demerara back in 2016, now awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to the offence.
Kevin Sahoye had initially been indicted for murder, but at his arraignment yesterday morning, he pleaded not guilty to the capital offence, but admitted guilt on the lesser charge of manslaughter.
The man accepted that he unlawfully killed the teen on August 14th, 2016 at Plantation Walk, Triumph, East Coast Demerara.
