Two men open fire at CANU ranks

Two men opened fire on ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) in Corentyne, Berbice on Tuesday following the interception of a motor car which contained more than $17 million in cannabis.

CANU in a statement said that during the operation which took place at No. 69 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, motor car PKK 4588 was intercepted and 129.6 pounds of cannabis was seized.
