Postal workers held over cocaine in envelopes

Two Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) workers were taken into custody on Friday following the discovery of a quantity of cocaine.

In a brief press release, the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) said that the cocaine, which weighed 14 grammes, was intercepted in two envelopes. The agency did not provide any other information.
