A number of organisations including the Canadian High Commission, have pledged to combine their energies to combat gender bias and support gender equality.
In a release yesterday, the Canadian High Commission noted its collaboration with the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI), Impressions Branding, and United Nations Guyana as a part of their efforts to increase the support for gender equality in Guyana in celebration of International Women’s Day.
This year’s event, it stated, is the second year of collaboration between the High Commission of Canada and GBTI for International Women’s Day.
